Audaciously Visible Coaching

“Get up, Rock!” What Rocky Balboa Can Teach You About Success.

I LOVE the Rocky franchise. LOVE IT! I almost wrote my master’s paper on it—I’m not kidding. So you can imagine I’ve watched this video over and over, and then it hit me: this toddler isn’t just mimicking Rocky—he is Rocky.

Desire. Repetition. Determination. Support. Success.

By Rocky II, the fighter knows how to box. He’s trained, he’s had a taste of success. But he’s stuck.

Why?
Because he’s alone:

  • Adrian tells him not to fight.
  • Mickey says his career’s over.
  • Doctors warn him of serious health risks.

And then Adrian wakes up and says one word: “Win.”

Cue the music…and my tears. Every. Dang. Time.

That support changes everything. Suddenly, with Adrian’s belief and Mickey’s coaching, he’s back in the ring with fire and focus.

It’s the exact same formula behind my Audaciously Visible coaching program.

We all have our version of “the fight”:

  • Speak with confidence
  • Start the thing
  • Finish the thing
  • Be seen authentically
  • Use your voice powerfully
  • Own the spaces where you are leading

And we all need support to win—someone who will both cheer you on and push you to do the hard, refining work.

A client wrote to me this week:

Thanks for your clarity, specificity, observations, and frankness. Thanks for no BS. Thanks for the gentle push to be a bit more bold — that was exactly what I needed… I usually don’t take my own advice to ask for help. I’m so glad I did this time.

She showed up like Rocky—ready to try, fail, repeat and grow. I showed up as her Adrian and Mickey. That’s what coaching looks like.

Let’s build your montage.
Let’s make your voice impossible to ignore.
Let’s win.
